Tom Talbot and Graham Mackenzie met in the early 90's in Victoria, BC while they were both employed by Mt. View Tree Service Ltd.

They soon found a common interest in their appreciation of trees in the urban environment and share an inquisitive nature as to why trees react the way they do. As the concern for trees and the environment increased on Vancouver Island they formed the Arboricultural Consulting division of Mt. View Tree Service and built a solid reputation based on knowledge, experience and honest opinions.

In May 2004, they formed Talbot Mackenzie & Associates, a company dedicated to Arboricultural and Horticultural consulting. By staying on top of the latest information and technology associated with the field of Arboriculture they continue to provide good service to an ever-growing clientele. By forming this independent consulting firm their mandate is to provide honest unbiased opinions based on education and experience for your tree and horticultural questions.
